Roller deflection guides

Roller deflection guides are used to deflect the windable cable from a motorized cable reel in two directions with center feed.

Cable deflection guides

Cable deflection guides are used to deflect the windable cable from the customer’s feed unit to the mobile equipment.

ULTV: to max. 1 kV

ULTV-H: medium voltage to max. 24 kV

Double deflection rollers

UD:The double deflection roller is used for spiral-winding cable reels and deflects the windable cable from the higher-positioned reel. it is also used for passing the feed deflection guide.

UDQ: The double deflection roller with lateral roller is used with cylindrical winding cable reels and deflects the windable cable from the higher-positioned cable reel. It is also used for passing the feed deflection guide.

Cable deflection and guide rollers

Cable deflection and guide rollers are used where cable payout cannot be effected directly from the cable reel. The roller core diameter must have a minimum of 15x the cable diameter.

Cable pulling grip

The cable pulling grip is matched to the cable diameter and provides local strain relief at the fixed end of the windable cable. The cable pulling grip counteracts point load by distributing the strain over a wider area. The cable pulling grip is designed for 3 times the maximum tensile force of a conventional strain relief element. It is only suitable for use with horizontal payout.
